January Update
From the Site Manager
I thought I would give you an update on the works we are doing this week and over the next few weeks.
The demolition works are now complete as far as we can go at the moment. The rest of the demolition will be carried out once the finial newt trapping areas are complete. This will be some time in March as long as the weather is on our side.
We started today removing the hedge to then entrance to the site as well as tidying up the rest of the hedge that is to remain. We are doing it now so that we do not cause any disturbance to nesting birds as their nesting season will be starting next month at some time. We will also be doing hedge removal along star lane where the foot path link is. We will be doing all the work from the inside of the site except the area at the new junction location.
Next week I will be on site with ground workers to put in the infrastructure for the site offices with the site offices being delivered in two weeks time. We will then be starting on the junction works for the new access road.
Along with the junction works we will be starting the installation of the services. These work will cause the most disruption and so I intend to letter drop the houses by the end of next week with details of these works.
