Watchfield housing needs survey

Watchfield parish council (WPC) is organising a housing needs survey with the assistance of ORCC  . The purpose is to identify those within the village, or with links to it, who may want to apply for some of the social housing which will be built in the new developments in Watchfield. If WPC can demonstrate a local need than the VWHDC will allocate some of the new homes to local people.
This may apply to you even if you are looking at buying a home. The housing will include some shared ownership homes which make it easier to get on the housing ladder.
Please take the time to complete the survey.
All civilian homes in the village will get a paper survey through your door and more are available in the post office. MOD staff can get copies from the welfare office in Short Street. Local businesses will get copies for their staff.
You can also down load a copy from here Watchfield HNS Jan 2013 website version
THIS SURVEY APPLIES TO THOSE WITH LINKS TO THE VILLAGE, I.E. THOSE WHO WORK IN THE VILLAGE/DEFENCE ACADEMY, HAVE RELATIVES HERE  OR USED TO LIVE HERE.
P.S. WPC are simply ensuring local  people are aware of the new housing and assessing local needs. WPC aren’t qualified to advise on individual needs, but the survey includes links to those that can do this. WPC will not get access to individuals survey data. We will be informed of the total numbers”in need” to help in village planning. When completing the survey you can opt in to be contacted by VWHDC, or ORCC,  to help with your housing needs.
